RAL Property Services LLC Terms & Conditions of Service

  • Introduction
    • Who we are: RAL Property Services LLC consists of Clean Right, specializing in Flood Remediation, Carpet Cleaning, Carpet Repair, & Flooring Installation, and RAL Lawn & Shrub Care, which specializes in Lawn Fertilizing, Weed Control, Pest Control, Core Aerification, & Overseeding in southeast lower Michigan. 
    • The Agreement: By booking, contracting, or scheduling our services, you agree to these Terms of Service.
  • Client: Client is anyone who has agreed to have work completed by RAL Property Services LLC. 
  • Website Use
    • Ownership: All content on this website is owned by RAL Property Services and is protected by copyright laws.
    • Prohibited Acts: You agree not to use our site for scams, distribute malware, or scrape our data.
    • Accounts: If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details safe.
  • Text Message (SMS) Terms
    • Opt-In: By providing your phone number, you explicitly agree to receive automated text messages for booking reminders, appointment information, service updates, promotional offers from RAL Property Services, RAL Lawn & Shrub Care, and Clean Right. 
    • Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your interactions with us.
    • Rates: Message and data rates from your wireless carrier may apply.
    • Opt-Out: You can stop receiving texts at any time by replying STOP to any message.
    • Help: Reply HELP for customer support info, or contact us directly.
  • Contact Information: Your contact information is collected for use in text communications and automated reminders.
  • The Services & Products
    • What we do: We will perform the tasks agreed upon in client quote, contract, or work order.
    • What you do: Client agrees to give us accurate information and safe access to the work area. You also agree to let us know of any special concerns, like pets, gates, or time constraints.
  • Payments & Billing
    • Prices: Estimated prices are based on information available at the time of the estimate and are subject to change. Changes in the cost of materials and supplies can change the final cost. We reserve the right to add fuel surcharges when fuel costs increase. 
    • Due dates: Payment is due upon completion of work. 
    • Discounts: To receive discounts, payment must be made according to the discount offer. 
    • Late fees: Should the Client fail to make payments as they become due, a $10 monthly statement fee can be applied.
  • Cancellations and Refunds
    • Client cancels: Cancel at least 24 hours before your appointment to avoid a fee.
    • We cancel: If we must reschedule, we will contact you as soon as possible.
    • Refunds: Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis within 30 days, provided you notify us within 2 days of service.
  • Limits on Liability
    • Our responsibility: We are careful, but we are not liable for indirect damages or pre-existing property issues.
    • Cap on claims: Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific service.
  • Privacy: Our Privacy Policy can be found at https://ralprop.com/privacy/.
  • Changes to Terms: We may update these terms at any time. The new terms  will apply to all future work.
  • Terms of Service Effective Date: August 20, 2026

Additional Service Specific Terms

Acceptance of Estimate – Lawn & Shrub: Acceptance of estimate gives RAL Lawn & Shrub Care staff permission to be on the client’s property and apply fertilizers and pesticides. 

Any extra work will be billed separately. 

Exclusions for Restoration & Flooring

The Following matters are excluded from the Work, unless specified in writing to the contrary:

  • Electrical Work is to be done by a certified electrician only and is always additional to the Contract.
  • Iron railings removed during construction are always re-attached at an additional cost.
  • Painting and Staining are not included in any contract.
  • Conduit and connections for electrical, gas, and all other utilities and services are not included in the contract. Some may be available at an additional cost from separate contractors.
  • Site Unknowns: Including, but not limited to, sub-surface conditions/obstacles that create unforeseen labor, equipment, material, or disposal charges.

Exclusions for Lawn Care

The Following matters are excluded from the Work, unless specified in writing to the contrary:

  • Damage to any buried wire, water lines, sprinkler heads, conduit, connections for electrical, gas, and all other utilities and services are not included in the contract. Any damage is the property owner’s responsibility if not properly marked prior to services taking place.
  • Site Unknowns:  Including, but not limited to, sub-surface conditions/obstacles that create unforeseen labor, equipment, material, or disposal charges.
  • Weeds: The Contractor shall use its efforts to minimize any weeds; however, the Contractor shall not be required to inspect or otherwise ensure that there is no weed or other unwanted plant matter upon the Client’s property in any soil or root balls/planting container of plant materials, nor shall it provide warranty for the removal of existing weeds.
    Horticultural Care Package: The Horticultural Care Package provided by the Contractor is a guide for the care and maintenance of all planting provided. Failure to comply with the guidelines set out therein shall void any warranty or guarantee provided by the Contractor whether express or implied.

Warranty

  • Payments Received: The Warranty for the contract is only valid if payment is received in full on acceptance of the work.
  • Diligence: The Contractor agrees to carry out its Work diligently and to provide sufficient supervision and inspection of its staff and subcontractors and that it’s work will be of proper and professional quality, and in full conformity with the requirements of the contract.
  • Competence: The Contractor warrants that it is competent to perform the Work and that it has the necessary qualifications, including knowledge and skill, with the ability to use them effectively.
  • Site Unknowns: It is the responsibility of the Client or the Client’s Representative to fully inform the Contractor of all the information regarding site unknowns that may include difficult, unseen, buried, or hidden materials, cables, and pipes, drainage, or water table issues. Failure to notify the Contractor may lead to additional costs to the Client at the Contractor’s discretion.
